About me:

Hey there!

My name is Fedra, I am 25 years old and I am from Corfu, Greece. I grew up on an island
full of tourists, where multicultural vibes, different skin colors, and diverse languages dominated my
everyday life, significantly impacting my personality and the way I perceive myself: communicative, open-minded, people-oriented, curious about the world and its diversity.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media & Culture and I am planning to further enrich my studies, pursuing a master’s degree soon! Even though my field of studies did improve my writing skills, the art of writing is something I was familiar with since the 6th grade, being frequently praised by my teachers for my essays and assignments. Later on, during my university years- and specifically during the last year of my studies- I realised that the form of writing which fascinates me the most are the long-form, first- person narratives.

That’s when I created my Facebook page “Fedra Mour” ,where I started sharing my thoughts and -mostly travel- experiences in Greek. However, I wanted to broader my readership and that’s the reason why fedramour.com was created. Some of the texts you may find here are originally written in English, while others have been translated from Greek to English by me. I am not an English, native speaker so.. please, show some love people and forgive me for potential mistakes!

•Having lived in: Greece, Spain, Ireland

•Job experience in the high-end hospitality industry

•In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic found me working as a photojournalist for a Spanish newspaper

•Languages I speak: Greek, English, Spanish, Italian (still improving)

•I would also like to learn french

•I love dancing

• City girl > country side girl

• And summer > winter, that’s for sure
